We Are Back – A New Start for Birds And Visitors

It has been quiet here since June. I owe you an honest explanation.

This summer a full nest died. I had followed those birds every day through my cameras, from the first moments in the nest box. When it ended like that, I was devastated. I could not write about it, and I could not keep posting as if nothing had happened. So I stopped.

Nature is not always kind. That is the hard side of showing real life without staging anything. I have always promised you real moments as they happen, and this was one of them.

Now I am ready to start again.

The live feed is back on. You can watch the garden right now, here on the website and on YouTube.

There will be more content than before: new videos, highlights from the cameras, and regular updates on this blog again.

There is also something new. I have started writing a book about Birds And Visitors: the garden, the cameras, the birds, and the stories behind the videos, including the ones that were hard to tell.

Thank you to everyone who kept watching and waiting. The birds are still here, and so am I.

See you in the garden.
